I sing for a living.
And then I teach what I learn.
Lisa Marie Smith is a working Las Vegas vocalist and vocal coach — a graduate of The Boston Conservatory at Berklee who has spent two decades headlining the Strip, and who teaches voice the way she actually sings it.
Lisa Marie Smith is a professional vocalist, entertainer, and vocal coach based in Las Vegas, Nevada. She holds a BFA in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, is a certified voice instructor in Somatic Voicework (all levels), and is pursuing her master's in vocal pedagogy.
Across roughly two decades on the city's most prestigious stages — headlining PIN UP at the Stratosphere, originating roles in BAZ: Star Crossed Love at the Palazzo and The Mayfair Supper Club at the Bellagio — Lisa has performed across a wide range of vocal styles for the city’s most demanding rooms. The techniques she teaches are the same ones she uses on stage every week.
She founded LMS Voice Studio to pass that knowledge on. Her students range from intermediate singers to working professionals refining stage technique and vocalists rebuilding from injury — in person in Las Vegas or online from anywhere. What stays constant is the standard of the room.
She specializes in technique, healthy belting, head voice, vocal rehabilitation, performance coaching, and audition preparation. Her students have earned top roles, prestigious university acceptances, and a long list of accolades.
Lisa is selective about who she teaches. New students submit a short video audition — two contrasting one-minute pieces — so she can understand where you are and decide whether she is the right teacher for your goals. Quality control applies to everything she does, including the studio roster.
One coach, three doors.
Alongside her coaching, Lisa is the founder and CEO of LMS Entertainment — Las Vegas's full-service entertainment company — and the lead vocalist of Live Music Society, the city's corporate and wedding band. The studio is one of four sister companies; the same standard runs through all of them.
Bring us your voice.
We’ll tell you the truth.
